M12 splitters includes both M12 T connectors and M12 Y connectors in 4 and 5 positions. The M12 Y splitters are available in 4 and 5 positions with a shunting circuit or for parallel operation. The input side of the M12 Y splitter connector is a male M12 connector and the output is 2 female M12 connectors. The 4 and 5 position M12 T connector splitters are available in an unshielded version and a fully shielded model. The contacts on all of the M12 splitter connectors are gold plated for reliability and the housings are nickel plated for industrial environments. Both the M12 T connectors and the Y splitters are A coded.

FAQ
● What are Y-cables used for?
What is a Y Cable? The function of a Y cable is to duplicate a single audio signal into 2 identical audio signals. The two signals can be connected to two new destination devices. A Y cable can also be used to change the connector type to avoid using a Y cable plus connector adapters in the same chain.
● What is a splitter in cable?
A splitter is a device used to split a cable signal between two or more devices, providing two coaxial cables to connect those devices. A splitter weakens the signal level. This can cause intermittent loss of service or, in rare cases, complete service failure.
● Is there a difference in cable splitters?
Is there a difference in the quality of coax splitters? Not all coax cable splitters are created equally. Low quality coax splitters can adversely affect the video signal, causing excessive attenuation of the signal (signal loss) and multiple reflections which can cause ghosting (shadows on the picture).
